Off the top of my head... the al ternate makers of KL machine s I have found are  National Cash Register (o r were they Teletype Corp?)  & Boehm ( Sp). The Suff ix letters are generally revisions to the design rather tha n designators of manufacturers from what I have seen.

Perhaps I was thinking of the UGC-74, A, B, C  ?? 

Anyway, unless I am loosing it, the TT-4 is different than the 4A, B,   
and C models. 

I will ask Tom to straighten me out!
