Actually your machine is not bad at all. I would tell you how to clean it,
but John Nagle has already done the work. Be sure to check out the link he
provided to his M15 restoration. I used his method on several machines and
the results are nothing short of amazing.

power cord is a standard computer power cord, least wise on ours it is.
