It's the exposure to air that causes it to go rancid - so 
sealed full bottles (very little air) - one would expect to 
last for a very long time. Were I you - I'd look into the 
law regarding that - it's possible mere possession today 
(without certain credentials) could be a problem (you must 
prove where you got it); selling it can get you in a world 
of trouble (a guy was assessed $2000 for attempting to sell 
sperm whale oil on the internet back in 2004) - just saying 
- be careful... Anything (or product of) something that's on 
the endangered species list can be an
