The one I have the top is flat and the reperf is not bolted down. The
reperf base has round metal feet similar to those on a Model 15 base.
Now it may be that there is supposed to be a felt pad on top of the
dolly. I don't have one, and will have to dig through parts books to
see if one is shown.
The parts book for the 14 typing reperf, high base, shows a felt pad,
but doesn't show the dolly. The parts book for metal tables shows
the dolly with a felt pad on it and a couple of studs that stick up
presumably to keep the base from shifting off the dolly. Mine doesn't
have those.
Here's another detail of the dolly that I didn't notice until I moved
the reperf off of it. There is a rectangular hole in the top for the
cables to go through. Looking at the top, the hole starts 2 3/4 inches
from the left side and then the hole is 3 3/8 inches wide. The hole
starts 1/4 inch from the back of the table and is 3 3/4 inches in that
direction.
Believe you have the CD ROMs with manuals - there is one titled Metal
Tables 1077B that has a picture of the dolly.
