I heartily recommend the 50/50 solution and here is my experience.
A few years ago I purchased a Willys MB to restore. The L134 must
have had problems, because someone had removed the head, decided
it wasn't repairable and left the hood open allowing it to rain into the open cylinders.
I disassembled the lower half of the motor and removed the first 3 pistons.
The fourth was stuck and heavily rusted. I read about the 50/50 solution and
mixed some up. After 2 weeks of soaking the cylinder I was able to drive out
the piston using a wooden spacer and a sledge hammer. The rust in the cylinder
walls dissolved and after a light honing cleaned up nicely. The only real issue
(besides a new set of bearings and rings) is the wrist pins are tight. This solution
will unstick the most stuck metal parts.
Be patient and allow it to soak.

Silently I thought "Oh s**t, this thing may never run again." But there was only one thing stuck so solidly I had to take the piece and the pivot shaft out of the machine and wedge them apart with a pocket knife and hammer. (It was part of the carriage return mechanism at the bottom of the machine.)Here's the info from Machinists Workshop:> Machinist's Workshop did a test of penetrating oils where they> measured the force required in a standard test> to loosen rusty test devices.
