In case you DO need to get something unstuck, the Machinists Workshop  
magazine reported the results below, and noted that the 50-50 mix of  
automotive ATF and acetone did the best job of loosening rusted parts.

I have a Model 15 page printer that came from a fellow who told me, "I  
haven't run it for years, but I kept it running nicely with WD-40."    
Silently I thought "Oh s**t, this thing may never run again."  But  
there was only one thing stuck so solidly I had to take the piece and  
the pivot shaft out of the machine and wedge them apart with a pocket  
knife and hammer.  (It was part of the carriage return mechanism at  
the bottom of the machine.)
