Yes,
We have discussed this. I have waited 10 years now a few more days or
weeks
will not make that much difference. I would like to get an answer
from Mercer
before going to plan B
Thanks Kevin,
Don

Hi:
Has any one considered using a 3D printer system to make these needed
print
hammers???
You can normally get them to make a run of less than 1000 items fairly
cheap.
You need to clearly define the material to be used and then they
create it in a
3D printer. I saw it being done at the recent AFCEA show in San Diego.
Impressive. from very small items (such as a screw) to fairly large
items (more
than 10 inches in size).
One of the companies at the show was:
http://www.purpleplatypus.com/products/3d-printers/
or:
http://www.purpleplatypus.com/services/rapid-prototyping/
You need to send them a new sample to be scanned in their 3D laser
system.
Just an idea...
Kevin
