Yes,

We have discussed this.  I have waited 10 years now a few more days or  
weeks
will not make that much difference.  I would like to get an answer  
from Mercer
before going to plan B

You can normally get them to make a run of less than 1000 items fairly  
cheap.
You need to clearly define the material to be used and then they  
create it in a
3D printer. I saw it being done at the recent AFCEA show in San Diego.
Impressive. from very small items (such as a screw) to fairly large  
items (more
than 10 inches in size).

You need to send them a new sample to be scanned in their 3D laser  
system.
