I believe I have seen one of these. Just a straight 33 bolted down into a case, so you could take it with you. I assume the printer was bolted in as well the way we ship them. An acoustical coupler separate, but hooked to the 33. I dont know what they did about the chad or running the tape reader in such close quarters, but whoever carried it must have had a strong arm. Its what passed for portable in the day.

This is all from a fuzzy memory, so not 100% sure of my info.

Look what I received today!
Check out all the photos at the following link:

Anyone ever seen one of these before?
Obviously a Model 33 mounted in a transit case (125 Lbs.).
It is apparently a General Electric DigiNet terminal.
Other than having a great deal of masking and duct tape residue, it seems to
e a very clean.
Nothing was broken, so I am not sure what the purpose of taping everything
as supposed to do.
Only problem I could find was someone's idea of using masking tape as a
rint hammer repair!
The type wheel looks like none of the others I have seen. Is it special for
he DigiNet?
Came with the acoustic coupler and the typical Model 33 manuals and a tech
anual for the DigiNet.
The DigiNet manual is dated October 15, 1969.
There was even a business card for the Teletype Account Manager. Anyone know
erry Darnieder?
If you have knowledge of this terminal and it use I would be interested in
nowing more about it.

Cheers,
Steve Ripper
