Larry,

If you dont care about the answerback ever tripping from the distant end, just remove the two far right vertical function pawls.  They are held in by springs only.  Its a good idea in RTTY anyway as if you are receiving garble and get a figs D, you will trip the AB and even if the receive garble stops, you wont know for 20 characters.

Howdy Folks,
I have a nice Model 32 that, upon receiving the upper case "4" or the "$" 
ymbol, starts the "Here Is" drum turning.  I don't like that.
Any thoughts as to why?
