Might have to play with the range finder on the side. I didn't have to though. 7646 Kc is another frequency. I'd think on the east coast it would be a fairly good signal.

> As you may remember, late last spring, Steve Garrison went on a road trip, generously delivering many TTYs and related machines and items to many Greenkeyers through out the land. He delivered a TD and a paper tape?TTY to me. I later learned that I was one of two people that wanted that unit, Steve himself was the other, but I guess that I contacted the person offering the unit shortly?before he?did.

> Unfortunately, my elderly father in law fell down some concrete stairs last week, and suffered significant head trauma. This is bad in itself, but my mother in law had a similar accident several years before, and depended upon my father in law for day to day living and driving. The doctors say that my father in law will be in the hospital for at least eight weeks,?and that he will eventually recover most of his speech and motor?coordination, but?after that, with my mother in law's previous injury and subsequent partial loss of facilities, that they should not live alone anymore. My wife and I are both dead set against them being placed in a nursing home, sooooo... We are converting the ground level part of our home into an apartment for my in laws, including a stair lift so that they do not have to worry about?falling down the stairs.

> Since my TTYs, electronics?and switchboard is in this lower level of our house, they will have to be stored temporarily up in the?spare bedroom while the construction is done and my out building is being built.??I will still be able to use and work on my machines, but the tape printer is at the moment one too many. I would indeed?like to give?it to Steve Garrison, and I am looking for a way to get it?down?to him in his part of the world. If anyone is traveling that way and passing through the Kansas City area (or even close) and would be willing to take it to him, please let me know.? It is too?heavy to ship by any method except motor freight, and that would cost more than the machine is worth, even to a collector. I am willing to kick in some money for help with gas as well.

Diskettes as well as connector/adapter is included in original box. Hooks to the RS-232 port on computer and audio out of radio. Tune in one of many FAX broadcasts across the spectrum and synch it up. Instructions are in the box. Uses keyboard keys. Save pictures to disk, HD or wherever. Good signals give really good clean grey scale pictures. One station at Pt Reyes and another in Virginia i think plus other internations stations sending WEFAX.
