Hi Don:

Time will tell, but it is designed for use around engine 
compartments of cars and airplanes. The other question is 
how will it survive oil. However, I believe the smooth top 
coating will help with this - again, I go back to its 
design useage....

I wouldn't trust it to go under a printer unit, though 
where it would literally be soaked in oil...
