I was wondering if anyone on the list had in the distant past communicated
with W3DTZ (SK)? I recently picked up his 28KSR and a number of
professional looking homebrew equipment pieces that he constructed back in
the 70's. His attention to detail, both in construction and the meticulous
notes that I also was fortunate to obtain shows the love and dedication he
had for the "green machine". He purchased so many new parts from the
Teletype Corp. to get this machine running correctly. It's a blast just
going over all the numerous receipts and letters he wrote to the guys at
the Teletype Corp..... glad that this piece of history did not wind up in a
landfill in Pittsburgh!
