How many of the GreenKeys ranks copy or have copied the RTTY/SITOR-B
broadcasts from WLO in Mobile, Alabama?
Comments and criticisms are welcome, and suggestions for content are
also welcome.
Most everything submitted to WLO is also on ITTY, save for heavy
political commentary which is not allowed on WLO.
QSLs for signal reports will be forthcoming as winter sets in and I
don't get outside as much.
As the season has changed the propagation from WLO has changed
somewhat in the Northwest.
As I type this WLO is running a vrey steady S-7 to S-9, with some
fading down to S-5.
When the transmissions started it was dark before they were readable
here in Sequim.
For the past two weeks they get pretty good around 3 in the
afternoon, but there are days when they can be heard all day long;
weak, but still there.
There are strong signals coming in all day from a Globe Wireless
station on Malta, but they are runnung many KW.
WLO does consistently well with just 1 KW.
Please send all responses on this inquiry to WLONEWS at olypen.com.
Thanks,
George - W7TTY
