[GreenKeys] ASR33 paper advance

On my ASR33, the paper does not does not advance when the platen
advances.  If I apply pressure to the paper, pushing the paper against
the platen, the paper does advance in unison with the platen.  Is
there any adjustment for the amount of force the rollers apply to the
paper so that there is pressure being put onto the paper so that the
platen can advance it?  The platen itself seems awfully hard and is
very smooth.

Any ideas?
