Yeah...This is an area where I'm sure if Teletype had been making it they
would have made it a lot better.  The adjustment is that you take out
approx. 30 screws to get the printing unit out of the main frame.  Then
there are three screws going through somewhat oversized holes that allow
you to move the print hammer unit in relation to the print drum.  The
aim is to adjust it side-by-side so that the hammers are centered on the
columns of characters on the drum.  And also to set it so there is a gap
of 0.411 inch (not 0.410 or 0.412) between the hammers and the character
faces.  I don't have the gauge for that, although I guess I could make one
by grinding down a piece of metal to just the right width.  So I went for
centering the hammers on the typefaces and have not fiddled with the 
spacing between hammers and faces.  Perhaps that can be improved.  It's
just that each time to make the adjustment requires taking out the
approx. 30 screws and then putting them all back in again.  Well I guess
they could be left out between adjustments until things are looking good.
