I knew I was gonna get into trouble.....
There are low-level (+/-6v) and tempest modification kits for the
TT-176 so perhaps they show up in both flavors -
MK-1082/UG - LOW-LEVEL MOD KIT FOR TT-176
MK-837/UG - RFI MOD KIT FOR TT-176

5815-00-088-6025 - 7.42 to 7.00 unit mod kit for TT-176, TT-176A

And manuals, just FYI
TT-176A/UG, 176B, 176C
NAVELEX 0967-LP-173-7010 (TTY BUL 311B Vol 1)
NAVELEX 0967-LP-173-7020 (TTY BUL 311B Vol 2)
NAVELEX 0967-LP-323-3100 (TTY BUL 295B)

So I guess it all depends on just what is under the cover of that rig
on eBay....
cheers,
Nick
