[GreenKeys] Good cleaning agent

I know WD 40 is a good cleaner for grease, sticky stuff and whatnot and 
leaves a light coat of oil. Does anyone know if it comes in a form other 
than a spray?
If not, can someone recommend a good Liquid cleaner that's not so harsh 
as to strip the metal completely? We used to use Varsol and spray the 
printer/parts then blow them dry. It worked real good in a spray booth. 
It cleaned all the gunk off heavily used equipment.
