Good point.

Many people like to work with whole, even, round - whatever you
want to call it - numbers. They bid things like $20 $50 $85 - so
when you place a bid, like Ed said, put in a number slightly higher
and unusual:  $22.99 $52.99 $87.99.

I have had a reasonable amount of success doing that.

'Course if anyone ever lists a clean 35-KSR in California I'm going
for it no matter what. Probably will be one happy seller at the end...
