Steve it looks like you got a few answers to the question. I use a sniper
service for a few things but not all. I've seen the "bid nibblers" peck away until
they hit the top bid then up their max slightly hoping to win or it's a sellers
shill running things up to the max. If you use the sniper method it puts an end
to the silliness and cheating, just put in your max bid and walk away. If your
max bid is exceeded you'll get an email from the sniper sevice.....ignore it,
you already put in your top limit. Helps to stop moments of temporary
insanity or "gotta have it" syndrome.
