Looks like a piece of junk and this guy wants way more than any of his items warrant.  The TT-272 is a prime example!  This one has a good portion of the mechanical pieces used to cut tape without having a loop missing (probably never installed or removed later).  Cutting tape without a lop is usually accomplished when used in conjunction with the TT-271 KSR with matching keyboard tape cutting hardware.  I picked up a complete TT-271/272 for a good bit less than "oldtimer" wants for just half of the "set."  I picked up the complete set in Lincoln on my recent trip.  Although this one is a little cleaner to begin with.
