Greenkeyers,

I am cleaning out in preparation for building a new garage on the site
of my existing carport. All of the following TTY-related items are in
the way and I would like to dispose of them somewhere other than a
dumpster. I am unable to pack and ship, so all of the items below are
pickup only, SFO bay area, Northern California.

I have set the prices very low and am offering the items only on this
list to assure that the stuff goes to a good home. If there is no
price, the item is free if you are buying and picking up another item.
For some items I have pictures that can be emailed to you.

HAL DS3100 System, c/o DS3100 ASR Video Display Terminal, MSO3100
Message Storage Option, MPT3100 Message Processing Terminal, DSK3100
Disk Storage and RMX-3100:

   The DS3100 (s/n 758) c/o a 12" green CRT (DV3000) bolted atop the
keyboard/electronics package; the MSO3100 and MPT3100 are installed
internally. The DSK3100 (s/n 182) and RMX3100 (s/n 104) are in separate
3 1/2" rack mount cabinets. A DS3100 is the last and best electronic
RTTY terminal prior to the use of personal computers. This is the
system I operated in northern New Jersey in 1982 for the use of Vic
Poor, W5SMM, while he was sailing the Atlantic. That experience
inspired APLink, the predecessor to WinLink.

A complete set of original manuals is included. I think I can locate
most of the original cables. A floor stand with custom terminal board
may be available.

$50 OBO

HAL CT2200 Communications Terminal, RTTY:

This is an early 'glass TTY'. The internal TU has performance like
an ST-5, perfect for use with your local VHF RTTY repeater. This unit
started life as a CT-2100 and was later upgraded. Unit requires an
external video monitor, standard NTSC 75 ohm. I have one or two that
can be included.

Complete with KB-2100 keyboard and set of four original manuals.

$10

*****************************

HAL ARQ1000 Error Correction Terminal, AMTOR:

This unit was used with the DS-3100 system above to add AMTOR to the
mailbox. This is only a code converter (TOR to/from ASCII or Baudot) -
data in and out; no audio; it needs an external TU and display or KSR.

Complete with original manual. This unit most likely works fine, but
has not been tested so please consider it in as-is condition. s/n 108

Free with other purchase.

HAL ST-6 Demodulator:

This one has been hacked on a bit. I got it used and then made some
changes, as I recall. By the looks of the front it may include a UART
for regeneration. It does include the AK-1 tone generator.

   Complete with manual.

$20

*****************************

TTY Loop patch panel:

Consists of 6 rows of 24 1/4" NC jacks per row mounted (144 total)
on an insulated panel. I wired up the jacks on the back so that each
group (of 4, I think) was an isolated loop. You can rewire it any way
you like. It will mount in a 19" rack, after a fashion. I have some
cords that I made for use with this panel and if I find them they will
be included.

$5

Ribbons for Model 28(?):

These were actually purchased for the old Epson dot matrix printers
and come with a blank take-up spool. I am pretty sure they also fit the
Model 28. They are marked Black Pearl Spool Ribbons, Order Number 6252.

I have two six-packs and several singles.

Free with other purchase.

I am only about halfway through the storage area and my find more
goodies. I will update this listing in that case.

(Please, no eBay reselling, that will put you on my sh*t list forever.)
