[GreenKeys] Model 15 Noise Suppression

When I first spotted this thread I thought you guys were serious.   Then I 
realized all of this was "tongue in cheek."   I would imagine that you had a 
mother who was constantly telling you to be "quiet" and thus you feel that 
quietness is something to be desired.   I now realize that you undoubtedly 
have the proper appreciation of the sound a working teletype machine makes 
but that early training leads to some strange behavior today.  I remember 
back in the '50s that teletype machines were sometimes kept in closets with 
the door closed but those people had no appreciation for the sound a proper 
mechanical device makes.   I suspect that Harley Davidson owners would 
wonder what is being discussed!  None of my machines have the original sound 
proofing systems---probably because they have been used by mice at some time 
in their existence.
