[GreenKeys] Model 14 Keyboard Tape Perforator

I've never seen that type cover on a M14.  Is it a special purpose machine?

What is sticking our of the top - the rangefinder?

What is the "platen crank" sticking out of the front for?

Is it a strip printer rather than a reperforator (as someone suggested)?

Just curious.
