As a result of yesterday's trip to Oak Harbor, WA the following
items are available:

Item 1 - 2 Each URA-17 teletype converters. These were the
solid-state replacements for the venerable URA-8A. One has
factory-equipped rack-mountring ears, and one has some First year
sheet metal class kluged copies.

One unit looks like it lived in a smoky room, the other looks pretty
good. One has the audio input and loop output cable connectors, the
other does not. There are no power connector/cables, but they are
the standard Military MS3106 connectors, identical to what is found
on a Tempest Dovetron.

The electronics in one is pristine. The other has corrosion on the
circuit board mounting screws similar to that which one would find
on screws after a long time in a moderately humid environment. A bit
of wire brushing would make them spiffy.

It is my opinion that they should go as a pair, as parts from the
less classy unit could be used in the nice one.

The price: Cost of packing and shipping.

Item 2 - 1 each TT-187C/UG Model 28 TD. This is the smaller of the
28 stand-alone TDs. This on is in very good condition. Geared for
100 WPM. Small amount of surface rust on the base, easily removable
with some elbow grease and a small wire brush. Power cord is
attached, as is some manner of external switch and a loop connection
cable that looks similar to telephone station wire.

The Price: Cost of packing and shipping.

Item3 - 2 Each AN-UGC-77 Compact Teletypewriter sets. One has a
cover, the other does not. The covers were badly mangled when I got
them, and the best was saved and the other made into reinforcing
steel. Units have optical distributors for the keyboards, and
Shielded Selector magnets, indicating that these were Tempest units.
Both are equipped with the heavy-duty version of the Teletype
three-speed gearboxes. (Cast Aluminum Frames).

The Price: $100 for the pair plus the cost of packing and shipping.

Item 4 - 1 Each model 28 ASR. I bought this unit from a guy over in
Eastern Washington a few years ago. Tha cabinet is in fairly decent
shape, a couple of extra holes drilled here and there. For some
reason he had removed all of the vinyl tubing which encased the LESU
wiring, I won't quite call it shredded, but it will take some work
to make it look nice. Single head TD, Bell Green color, Typing
perforator on keyboard. Status of wiring unknown. Haven't had the
time to get into it.

The price: $125.00. I will deliver within 500 miles, you buy the gas
(round Trip), a burger and maybe a beer.

Item 5 - Model 32 keyboard. Has answerback and repeat keys, and come
keytops imprinted with bith the domestic and European opper-case
character symbols.

Price: $10.00 plus packing and shipping.

Item 6 - A couple of model 26 parts machines. fairly complete, one
lived under a tarp for a few years, but decent shape and has table
(Genuine). Model 26's had Holding Magnet selectors, and are a good
source of the HM Selector Cam Sleeves and Cam Sleeve retaining
screws (Marked "LEFT HAND THREAD").

There are a couple of model 14 TDs, some 14 typing reperfs, a 14
High-base typing reperf, a 14 non-typing reperf, one maybe two
three-head model 14 TDs.

This gear has become excess primarily because I am wrapped up in a
couple of other projects, and just don't have the time necessary to
do all there is to do.

If you have a specific want, lemme know. I'm relatively easy to
haggle with, but don't tell me your 6-month old baby girl needs an
ASR. Hmmmm. They can be made into cribs, I guess.

E-mail me or call if any interest. House phone is 360-683-3235, Cell
is 360-775-1128.

73,

W7TTY
