[GreenKeys] 28 Typing Reperf!

Hello all,

A few weeks ago Marc Dohrendorf advertised some goodies for sale in Canada.
I was (very) fortunate to get the 28 typing reperf (LPR?).  This thing is
near immaculate. I honestly believe it was never used. Or perhaps it was
professionally reconditioned at some service depot. It is as clean as you
can imagine. Here are some photos I took:

What is really a stroke of fortune, is that this has a 3 speed gear box in
it! Wow! Was that common? (I dunno, maybe they all had it?).  Even came with
one of those blue connectors with the back shell, completely unused ready
for some wire and solder. Came with two belts in new condx (perfectly
usable) and a bunch of manuals!

I am one happy camper. I rotated the motor by hand and it is really gummed
up.  I plan to lube it. But do I need to dismantle the motor and degrease it
first? Or can I just lube and see what happens? I have bad memories from
when I was a kid dismantling a motor and having springs and brushes shoot
under the couch, never to be seen again!
