I have two Model 15 Teletypes that I rescued from a friend's dirt
basement. They are old and dirty, but they are FREE to anyone who will
come get them. Pictures of both are available at
http://www.w4btx.com/mod15.html
I'd like to give them to someone who wants them, but they've got to go
before the XYL decides to clean the basement and discovers my "junque."
I am in Stone Mountain, GA which is a suburb of Atlanta and contact info
is available at the above link.

All:
For those who have been following the military-style traffic that was
being sent by the CommCenter Group on CommCenter-2, be aware
that it's SYSOP has been laid-up for a few days due illness.
Therefore, the manual FTP server has not been updated, and won't, until he
is
sufficiently recovered in order to work the circuit.
Also note that this link (CC-2) will be updated and automated soon to
more closely resemble an (older) Air Force teletype circuit operating in
the
JANAP 128 format.
For those who are (still) interested, you may continue to pick up
CommCenter
traffic at these URLs which also feature simulated (military) teletype
circuits
from years past: (make sure you have Java enabled)
CommCenter-8:
http://commcenter-8.net
(Replicates a US Army 1st Signal Brigade tape relay monitor position with
60 wpm traffic. This circuit uses ACP-127 Tape Relay format. It is an
automated site)
http://commcenter-8.net/cc-9
(Replicates a combined Navy/Coast Guard Fleet Broadcast and RATT link
with occassional NAVTEX traffic from SITOR-B BCSTS along with other types
of traffic. This link uses most common formats, ACP-126 (RATT); ACP-127
(Tape Relay), JANAP-128 (AUTODIN), AFOS, WMO and USCG NAVTEX. This
is an automated site).
None of these sites are official US Govt sites. They exist for the fun and
enjoyment of the former military communicators.
Note that these are only replicator (simulated) teletype, and not actual
teletype. Links include sound effects.
Feedback always appreciated.
Enjoy!
Dave

This item on Ebay is two 43A carrier telegraph units (not audio amps).
They
appear to have their plug-in tone filters. Not in the best of shape...
