Seems like McMaster-Carr often gets mentioned when odd screws and other
odd stuff are needed. Also if you live in a place of some size you
might look in the phone book for a bolt and screw supply place.
Some of these primarily deal in construction fasteners, like those
screws that drill their own holes and then tap them; but others
are more general industrial suppliers and have a lot of odd stuff.

Hardware stores vary a lot in what they carry. The other day I got
some 2.5 millimeter screws at an Ace hardware (and had a very
helpful salesman) but not all Ace hardware stores, or any other,
carry such a range of sizes.

Teletype made a lot of its own screws, so they could make whatever
they wanted and they chose 6-40 and 8-36 and other sizes that are
standardized but not commonly used. In the 32/33 line they tended
more to buying screws ready-made for automatic screwdrivers, and
thus used some of the more common sizes.

I would have thought that the ones that hold a 32/33 base to the
pedestal were common sizes, as they look bought rather than Teletype-
made.
