Hey Jimmers;
You might consider going to the New York Times website and checking
out the vintage news. I believe you have to pay a small fee to get
stuff.
You could download the stories onto your computer and then print
them to the Teleype machine.
Would probably bring great delight at your next wine-and-cheese
party. You could print some of the stories from bygone eras - like
great sports wins, asasinations, wars, elections, etc.
OK - now for something important.
I'm inventing an antenna for my radio station. I say "inventing"
because all my books are still packed away - so I went to Home Depot,
got a 2' PVC pipe, some rebar wire, and an SO-239. I'm gonng wrap
the pipe with the wire and see if I can get on 160M. I buried a
10' radius of wire for a ground plane.
Meanwhile, I ran out of solder.
Does anyone know where I can get one of those $1,000 rolls I keep
hearing about on eBay?
