One of our 'sister' commcenter-X sites has a NEWS Wire channel
simulation. The news is current (well kind of current <grin>)
and is much like what I remember seeing on the AP wire at
the station I worked at in the 60s.

Commcenter-5 hosts a number of weather, earthquake and
Spanish language channels.

He does have the text files as links on that page... I'm not
sure about the CASE of the file names and as such I'm not
sure about them working with HEAVYMETAL (I know very
little about that great software!)

Enjoy..   And yes the notices are unsettling but they serve
as a reminder to all of us what the true cost of Human
conflicts are.
