[GreenKeys] ASR33 modem

Hi Barry,

I too have a ASR-33 with AJ modem installed. I believe you can
disconnect the modem from the tty loop by disconnecting the one cable
which terminates in a MOLEX connector at the back of the tty where there
are a number of other MOLEX connectors. I apologize that I don't have
the J# for you but I am at work and the tty and all the docs are at home.

But as far as I know, there is only a single connector that carries the
TX and RX loops between the tty and the modem.

I have my modem disconnected and instead have an RS232 to 20mA converter
plugged into the tty's MOLEX connector where the modem used to be and it
works great.
