Mike,

Jack Hart and George Hutchison are the experts on this.
The unit outputs low level signals that have to be changed to high  
level for the selector mechanisms
I think Jack's last suggestion was to use a relay, similar to what  
Dave did up in Canada.
Jack and George are now both working so it may take them some time to  
comment on your question.
