Mr. Bob Silverman is trying to find a home for some Teletype
equipment that he used about 40 years ago when he was active on radio
teletype as an amateur radio operator.

At one point he was the youngest RTTY operator in the country.
The year was about 1960 when he was 13 years old and had been
given a Model 12 Teletype machine from a family member who got it from
another family member that had passed away. He made it work by
building of all of the electronics to allow it to run.

The equipment that he would like to offer is a Model 26 Printer with
wooden stand, a Model 14 Typing Reperforator (on a wooden base), and
an RCA Transmitting Distributor. He also has a really old polar
relay from the Model 12 but nothing else from it.

The only price you have to pay is to promise to preserve the equipment
and if you must eventually get rid of it, you must also find a good home
for the gear. Understandably Bob does not want to ship this equipment.

You can contact Bob at his home in Sherman Oaks, California.

I put his email address in the Reply To: field so your reply will go
directly
to him.

Sure hope one or more of you will save and preserve these units.
