[GreenKeys] Another Request

Okay, I did so well on that last request that I'll try one more time. For some strange, unknown reason, I want to build up one of the old ST-5AS boards like I used in the early to mid 70's. I just have it in my mind that that design, using the 709 op amp at the input copied MUCH lower level signals than anything I have used since. I spent a lot of hours building those, fine-tuning the toroids, "zeroing" that 709 op amp, and sending them to Navy MARS members to use copying the old RTTY broadcasts. Many of the stations I copied then were so far into the noise that I really couldn't hear the tones, but that darned TU would print them. The ONLY drawback to them was the input filtering, but today's DSP filtered rigs should help in that area. I also "cobbled" up some input filters from Irv Hoff's QST articles then, so probably could do it again, hi. So, anyone got either a set of the old boards, a layout they would share, or even a complete unit they built and no longer need?? There were several versions of that TU, I think Irv or someone associated with him offered boards, HAL made some (and I have asked Bill Henry about that, but no answer yet), and the ones I built up were made by a company called Pemco. I wish I had more info on the Pemco, but 35+ years has lost that, hi. Any help would be appreciated. I have several toroids, several MJE-370 keying transistors, transformers from ST6's, all the rest to build with, just no boards left.
Thanks again, and 73 all,
Don, WB5HAK
