Hey Larry;
You have "dashpot bounce".
If you look at the dashpot (I assume you know what that is - and
for the newbies it is the cup on the front right that slows the
carriage down when it returns) you will see a screw on the top.
It is NOT the screw that holds it in place. You will need to either
loosen it a bit (because the carriage is bouncing when it returns
because there is too much air) or you will need to loosen it a bit
because there isn't enough air.
How to test it:
Look at some old errors that this is causing. Notice how far the
carriage goes to the right before it returns and makes this error.
Have your TD or something send lines like that. Adjust the screw and
see if things get better or worse.
You will have to make several tests to see if it works across the
whole page.
