Great find, Larry.  I have a 28 KSR in my collection that I got the same 
way about 10-12 yrs ago... or was it 15?  I was driving down Main St and 
noticed at the curb this 28 KSR.  It was in front of a social service 
agency with a TDD phone number listed on its sign, so I assume this was 
their TDD machine at one point.  Circled the block back to the spot and got 
the machine into my car (fortunately I drive a mini-van, and the back 
bumper is the perfect height for a tip-point for a 28 KSR!), with the 
garbage truck within sight about a half a block or so behind me.  Another 
successful 11-th hour rescue of a Teletype machine.
