I don't know anything about WU MOs, but WU money transfers are
pretty routine for overseas transactions.
A legit money transfer via WU is generally done with a cash transaction
at the far end, the sender will be given an MTCN, Money Transaction Control
Number, in your name and with that information, you are paid in cash at the
pickup end.
Having some of spouse's family overseas, someone in the family is
dealing with
WU almost every month, and AFAIK, we've never missed a penny.
