I'll take a stab at that one, since Dino sent the info a while back, hi. 
Version 1.9 is the latest for single units, unless you have the diversity 
reception option and two of them, then it's version 2.0.  Eproms are 
available from HAL for $50 each if you needed one.  Diversity appears to be 
the ONLY difference.  Manual copies are $50 each.  I'll pull the cover on my 
ST-8000 and tell you the latest eprom (I got mine from HAL several years 
ago), and it was available for the same $50 price from HAL.
