[GreenKeys] ST-8000A Firmware

Hello to the group,

Now that Mr. Henry is talking about the ST-8000/8000A modems, I guess I'll ask a few questions.

I was lucky enough to get one of the factory sealed ones with all the accessories just the way it left the HAL factory, it has v1.9 firmware.
I had another that had v2.0 firmware, is there any major differences in the versions and what is the latest version available? Is it something that a ham operator would need to be concerned with?

Also, what is the latest version for the 8000?, and are the EPROMS available from HAL?
