Don,
I had assumed that the 6-level code was the same as the 5-level code
(ITA-2) with the addition of one bit for the other case. So if you could
strip off the "shift" bit, it could be copied on a 5-bit machine.
Are you saying that it is a completly different code?? Where can I find
the details of the 6-bit code??
(AWA Museum is bidding on the ebay item)
