33's with a UCC-6 are normally wired for 20 MA full duplex (4  wire).  I 
wasn't aware that it was usually at 24 volts, thanks Jack.   The computer or 
external device supplies the loop current.  The test set I  use supplies the 
loop at 120 volts, so I believe anything from 24 to 120 volts  is fine.  
 
Also, 33's with UCC-6 can be strapped for 60 MA and/or half duplex if  
that's what is needed.  
 
The UCC-6 is the common control unit with the Line/Off/ Local switch on the 
 front.
