   It looks like you have the ribbon threaded incorrectly.  See
the illustration on page 6 of the Model 14 manual:

Note that the ribbon goes UNDER the center U-shaped wire loop.
You have it ON TOP of the loop, so it can't reach the paper.

Incidentally, if you need new ribbons, FJA Products sells
them.  Order NuKote B76 ribbons.
