A body shop can order paint in virtually any quantity.   Here in thriving, 
bustling Hackettstown, NJ, a salesperson stops by the shop, matches the 
colour with a portable computer and, delivers the paint the next day ! 
Amazing.

I haven't seen any wrinkle finish paint on cars lately.  Allied Radio used 
to sell wrinkle finish but, I don't think they're selling it anymore...or 
anything else :>) Maybe World Radio Labs have some !

The machines I had painted at the body shop maintained their "finish" 
because we painted over the original, cleaned up, paint but for areas that 
had rusted and need to be spot primed.
