Well, damn! The first attempt at this bounced for some reason, so here
it is again:
Good morning group,
The box of parts weighs in at approx 29.5 lbs. I'm guessing that 2.5 lbs
additional would cover packing material, for an ESTIMATED total of 32
lbs. I'll let you folks go to the FedEx or USPS (your choice) Web site
to figure out what the shipping cost would be.
I have filed the responses in order by time sent. The first responder
was non-commital but asked for the shipping cost. If after receiving
this msg, he decides he wants the stuff, he gets it. Failing that, it
would go to the second responder, who made a firm commitment. The only
way I know to be fair about it.
About payment: I have had good luck with the ham community in shipping
stuff prior to payment then advising the individual after the fact what
the total amount due is, including the EXACT shipping charge. I will do
the same with this stuff. Your check or money order will be fine, NO
"PayPal" crap.
Thanks again for reading,
Ed Greeley

intact. I got the box of stuff from a guy (who was neither a TTYer nor
even a ham) who had taken the parts off of the base so he could sell it
for scrap aluminum (groan). The only reason I know what the stuff came
off of is because the dope saved the LRXB6 tag off of the base.

typing reperf, and a motor all mounted on a common base. The TD and
reperf each had a three speed gear shift that was independently settable
to 45.5, 50, or 74.1 baud.

LMU11 motor (3600 RPM, 60 Hz, synchronous); and all the shafts,
bearings, gears, gear shift assys, misc. small hardware, etc. I believe
all the gears and shafts are present so that the thing could be
reassembled - IF ONE HAD A BASE, or could fabricate one! Is there a
machinist in the group...?

need a thorough cleaning and relubrication. The TD and reperf look to be
complete and NOT disassembled, and none of the gears, including the
fiber ones, are damaged.

USPS Parcel Post for the whole works. If there is any interest, I will
weigh the box so shipping can be estimated.
