[GreenKeys] M28 parts for sale

I have a box of parts that I believe are all the mechanical assemblies
of an LRXB6 tape device.

What is an LRXB6? I'm not sure because I never saw one that was intact.
I got the box of stuff from a guy (who was neither a TTYer nor even a
ham) who had taken the parts off of the base so he could sell it for
scrap aluminum (groan). The only reason I know what the stuff came off
of is because the dope saved the LRXB6 tag off of the base.

The LRXB6 was apparently a stand-alone tape device that had a TD, a
typing reperf, and a motor all mounted on a common base. The TD and
reperf each had a three speed gear shift that was independently settable
to 45.5, 50, or 74.1 baud.

What I am offering is: an LAXD4 TD; an LPR16ARA typing reperf; an LMU11
motor (3600 RPM, 60 Hz, synchronous); and all the shafts, bearings,
gears, gear shift assys, misc. small hardware, etc. I believe all the
gears and shafts are present so that the thing could be reassembled - IF
ONE HAD A BASE, or could fabricate one! Is there a machinist in the
group...?

There is no major corrosion, but the stuff is pretty filthy and would
need a thorough cleaning and relubrication. The TD and reperf look to be
complete and NOT disassembled, and none of the gears, including the
fiber ones, are damaged.

I'm asking $35.00, plus shipping by your choice of FedEx ground or USPS
Parcel Post for the whole works. If there is any interest, I will weigh
the box so shipping can be estimated.

Thanks for reading,
Ed Greeley
