That is a PreProgress GE lowband receiver. It had a seperate transmitter
that could have one or two 807 finals. Two 807's would give you over 100
watts output from your car!!
It is low band, i.e., 30 to 50 MHz. By jumpering two pins and applying the
correct voltage, you can get it to work. Too, another pin thru a pot to
ground will tame the squelch circuit. Thence on to the two pins from the
output xfmr will give you audio.
