Gil and Dave,
You can't actually set AOL/Compuserve to plain text, reqardless of the
disinformation on that web site that claims otherwise. All emails have an
attachment. But as AOL/Compuserve is far from the only provider that does this, the
QTH server software is set to simply strip the attachment and forward the
plaintext part. They did this quite a while ago. So my guess is that Dave is doing
something in the nominally plain text portion that QTH.net doesn't like.
Assuming that it isn't another one of those wierd spam blocker problems like you
ran into.
As I use Compuserve for email, I shouldn't have any problem receiving his
message exactly as sent. If Dave wants to send (not forward) his message to me
exactly as it was when he tried to send it to Greenkeys, I'll look at it and
see whether I can spot a possible offender.
