I dunno.  I knew a professional independent Teletype repair guy who
just soaked things in kerosene, then brushed clean and re-lubed.

I once built a Model 15 out of scrap parts, and I used Gunk on them,
which then gets washed off.  Didn't have a dishwasher, just washed
and dried by hand.  If you use a dishwasher on an assembled unit you
need to be sure it is thoroughly dried out afterward, with no water
standing in little pockets that don't drain.  Think I would take the
motor off.
