[GreenKeys] Help ID Dynamotor

Someone sent me a photograph of a wooden box or cabinet with six dynamotors 
mounted on top and a row of switches along one edge.  I think it's probably 
home-brew but I'm curious about what the dynamotors were from.  They are rated 
12-14 VDC input and 120 VDC output.  This is too low to be any radio dynamotor I 
ever saw but I wondered whether they might have come from a TTY loop supply.  
Has anyone here ever heard of such a thing?
