Paul is probably correct in this case.  There are certain to be loop current 
setting resistors.  Plus there may be taps on the primary of the power 
transformer that can be moved to adjust the output voltage downwards.  There are no 
filament windings to worry about upsetting by doing this.  That's usually the 
main reason for needing to add the resistors in radio power supplies when 
replacing tube or selenium rectifiers with silcon ones.  You can't adjust the AC 
supplied to the rectifier without changing the filament voltages..
