I am only citing my own experience between 1966 and 1973. The 32 and
33 are very useful machines if not run continuously.
Most of the early problems were resolved by the later production years.

The lube info that has been listed is very good. Many thanks to all who
contributed.
I still have some Teletype oil for my 32 and 33's. I use Lubriplate
on the
gears and selector cam etc. I believe the Teletype manual says
"Renew the
grease with a few drops of Teletype oil" in one of their manuals.
Lately I have found a lot of dried grease in areas that cannot be easily
disassembled. I use "Breakaway". It frees up the congealed grease
well. It does
have a bad smell, but it will dissipate in few days. You can get it
at auto
parts stores.
